Giselle Melo launched Matr (matter) Ventures in 2023

Formerly the Founder & CEO, Giselle is the Chair of NicheeStudio, a software development corporation that custom builds and rebuilds applications, machine learning solutions, AI systems, enterprise software, and mobile experiences for corporations.

Prior to launching Matr Ventures, Giselle was Partner, Head of Investment Banking at Toren & Associates. While there, she completed buy/sell transactions totaling over $5 billion in assets under management before stepping away in August 2021 to start creating the framework for Matr.

From 2014-2018, having built a scalable technology and experiencing challenges accessing startup funding, Melo is now looking for Founders with a Mamba Mentality.

Giselle is passionate about economic empowerment through entrepreneurship for TheCulture, women in STEM, and the Arts.
